Microsoft Changes its Stand on Xbox One Restrictions

It appears that Microsoft had a change of heart or saw that Playstation 4 will eat their lunch, if they did not change those previously announced restrictions on the xbox one.

Micrsoft’s President for Interactive Entertainment Business Don Mattrick said in a statement that “the following changes to Xbox One and how you can play, share, lend, and resell your games exactly as you do today on Xbox 360” and there will be no more internet connection required to play disc based game;as well as regional restrictions, which means you can play any xbox one game on any xbox one console.

This reversal from Microsoft is a good sign that they’re indeed listening to the gaming community and that they value their feedback. The only question now is whether gamers and consumers a like, will accept it or not, I guess we’ll know the answer by the end of this year, where both Sony Playstation 4 and Microsoft Xbox one hit the market.
