Google Chrome Browser Now Has Voice Recognition

chrome_logoLast thursday, Google release the stable version of the Chrome desktop browser version 25 (25.0.1364.97 m to be exact), I’m not a heavy user of Google Chrome, since my default browser is Mozilla Firefox, so this news was something to look forward to, since Google Chrome 25 now support for the Web Speech API that will allow web developer to add speech recognition features into their web apps. Google even created a demo page where you can compose an email just by talking.

The Chrome 25 will also disables silent extension installs in Chrome for Windows, to keep your Chrome browser fast and secure, and avoid malicious extension from being installed without your knowledge.

Since Chrome has an auto-update feature, chances are you already have the latest version of Google Chrome browser, if not then you can download the latest version here.
